The Love Tree

Love is full of surprises – sometimes it’s found by chance, and other times it takes a little searching. This Valentine’s season, we’re inviting you to take part in a special challenge: find “The Love Tree” hidden somewhere in the heart of San Juan Island. Once you discover it, look beneath the tree for a waterproof container. Inside, you'll find a “Love” journal and a pencil. We’d love for you to write a note – whether it’s a story about how you met your partner, a favorite love poem, or just something uplifting to leave for the next person who comes across it.

While you’re there, make sure to snap a selfie in front of the tree and share it with us! You can post it on Instagram, Facebook, or email it our way. Word on the street is that if you share your photo with San Juan Island Roasters, they’ll treat you to a delicious chocolate for everyone in the photo. So, grab someone you care about – romantic or platonic – and capture the moment!
